Wow! What can I say? Our first visit to Kefalonia was made more enjoyable because of Villa Eirene. It's well equipped and clean - including the pool. Tony is the perfect host - very helpful especially about local advice and recommendations.

Skala and Katelios are 10 minutes drive away. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, that serve wonderful, tasty food. We can recommend the Kefalonian Meat Pie from Mi Abeli (Skala), the Kefalonian style Swordfish from Maria's (Katelios) and not forgetting the Falafels & Sea Bass at Avli (Ratzakli).

The beach is about a 1km away, down a hill - it's about 15 minutes walk. The walk back can pull on the back of your legs, but worth it. There are 2 bars there that serve food - Tartarooga and Kaminia Beach Kantina.

My family (4 of us) will definitely be choosing to stay at Villa Eirene again in the future. THANK YOU, TONY!

Luxury Villa Just Minutes from the Award Winning 'Turtle Beach'

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at this Villa and are already looking at returning in the near future! This is one of the cleanest villas we have ever stayed in and to have new bed linen and towels midway through our stay was such a bonus. Our party consisted of two grandparents in their 70`s, a 20 and a 17 year old and us two parents. We didn`t hire a car as nobody was keen on driving, but the taxis were so reasonable and easy to book that we never had a problem visiting Skala, Katelios or Argostoli. Kamini beach is stunning and you could swim out for a long way before it got too deep. The loungers were reasonably priced for the day and the restaurant there sold delicious lunches and refreshing beers! We did struggle with the walk back up the hill to the villa, but we were in the middle of a heatwave during our stay. We ate at a local taverna, Avli, many times during our stay and were treated so well and served the most delicious foods. The family who own this are just the nicest people you could meet! Villa Eirene was perfect for all our needs. If I could make one suggestion it would be to make the steps into the pool clearer or to have a short hand rail to make entering and leaving the pool a little easier. The communication we had with Antony throughout the booking process and with Will during our stay was great. If you are thinking of booking this villa for your next holiday, please do you will not be disappointed. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We all had a wonderful time at Villa Eirene. The pool was the highlight of the holiday with competitive games of volleyball and piggie-in-the-middle! We even had an evening of water aerobics. We saw the pool man twice and everyone had a go at saving bugs from drowning.
We used the BBQ once which the men enjoyed, as they found a butcher in Skala and bought T-bone steak, huge prawns and sardines. The butcher gave them 2 litres of wine free which made them feel even happier! The dog appeared later to take any spare meat off to a secret hiding store. He certainly did not look starved. We didn't let him in the Villa and he was quite adapt at entering the garden via the stepped wall.
I myself had the best sleep I have had in years. I found the bed most comfortable and the shutters great for keeping light out. I had no concept of time and no reason too. Each day felt like it was 48 hours (in a good way), at the end we were all ready to go home after being well rested and suntanned.

We had a fantastic time in your lovely villa I have been busy with work this week but will be putting a review up. Didn't want to come home could have stayed forever beautiful island and accommodation. The cleaners were lovely and so was the pool man and the property manager would definitely recommend.

Many thanks for the 'loan' of your lovely villa. Had a great time, quiet area, close to the beautiful Turtle beach. Lovely sea views from the villa. A great welcome pack of food items on arrival and the mid-week clean and bed linen change was greatly appreciated.
The villa had everything (and more) that we needed. Great restaurant on turtle beach for lunch and/or dinner. Good choice for us vegetarians in all restaurants.
As only 10 minutes drive from Skala and Katelios can soon be in local towns.
Bonus for family was a great local dog 'Bes' who was a regular amusing visitor.

We had a lovely stay at villa Eriene. Like a home from home with everything we needed. With a lovely large pool, plenty big enough for us all. The kids loved it. Great facilities and a touch of luxury .Fantastic ground floor double bedroom and large shower room. Suitable for anyone who struggles with stairs.
One of the bathrooms as a bath with a shower which was great for the kids. The villa is not far from the local beach called Kamania. It has lovely soft sand and shallow waters. Only a 4 min drive by car. We had some lovely meals out at night in the near by towns of Katelios and Skala. There are plenty of tavernas and restaurants to choose from. Fantastic for family's. Cant wait to go back in August 2016.

I would just like to pass on our thanks for a lovely holiday, the villa was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything needed to enjoy a lovely holiday. It was also conveniently situated for access to the many beautiful places in and around Skala

A gorgeous villa with quality fixtures and furnishings. A great pool and lovely views. A car is essential but only minutes from a beautiful beach which is perfect for small children and adults alike. Nearby Skala and Katelios bay have lovely bars and restaurants. A fantastic week. Thank you - we'd book again
